Made it to Portsmouth, VA! 106 Nautical Miles in 3 days versus 3 weeks it took us in March. A little engine trouble coming out of Deltaville that we thought we were going to have to turn back, but amazing Captain Bill figured it out. We had a another warm wonderful day on the bay with light calm winds passing New Point Lighthouse (so of course have to post a picture since everyone knows I love lighthouses). We had a surprise visitor Jimmy Evans join us at anchor and spending the night with us. He brought dinner, drinks & dessert (Nutter Butters yum) and fog. Good friends, food and fog. Life is good today. If fog lifts in the morning, hoping to start down the main ICW tomorrow which will be our farthest point south that we have ever gone.
