ICW Mile 104 – Lifted anchor right after sunrise. A surreal 22 mile slow trip down the very narrow Alligator/Pungo Canal. I think I saw an alligator cross in front of us (or could have just been a log). We were glad for no barges coming the other way. We teased about turning around and doing it again, it was that amazing. But onto Pungo River. We stopped at Dowry Creek Marina Belhaven NC for gas, ice, pumpout and water. Then we ended up in the Jordon Creek. A crazy channel coming in, but fine if you can figure out the markers. We thought of you Christy, although not quite the Jordon River. We are anchored next to a boat that Bill would have bought, if Vicki hadn’t helped me out. (Picture below). A beautiful creek to end another great day on the ICW.
