ICW Mile Marker 229 – We left Oriental as the sun was rising this morning to continue our journey south. A beautiful calm day with mirror-like waters. We had a beautiful day and there was so much to see today. We passed another large barge, went under bridges (one while the current was pushing us at 10 knots and narrow passage). We saw dolphins in Beaufort and many beautiful waterfront homes all along the way. One house had a Trump flag flying half mast. We ended our journey coming into a inlet with about 30 fishing boats due to a fishing tournament being hosted in Casper Marina where we were staying. Our friend Dan and Susan had us over to their new house in Swansboro for shower, food and drinks. My friend Susan cupped Bill. We will see if it helps him. We are hanging in Swansboro for few days to visit some friends and family.
