We left Reedsville around 8am. We passed Windmill Point Lighthouse below – We made it to Deltaville in 4.5 hours instead of the planned 6 hours since north winds helped us out. Jackson Creek has very narrow channel shaped like a C and only marked by short markers. But Bill takes it slow as always and no problems. Deltaville Marina gave us a really nice spot looking out the channel and had Bill’s flag out. I took their bike and headed to town to explore. I looked pretty funny on a rusty bike with my backpack full of stuff, but I had good time & work out. I stopped at market and got some rations including steaks, potatoes and salad for dinner.
