ICW Mile 61 – Happy 7th Birthday to Norah yesterday. We miss you. We had a very restful night and out of Broad Creek early to cross the Ablemarble Sound today. It can be a rough 14 mile crossing, but again we were blessed with calm waters. We crossed it and passed thru the Aligator River Swing Bridge with group of boats: “Lady Pirate”, “Bee Knees” and “Mischief Managed” that we have been pacing with since Great Bridge Dock. Fun Fact – Mischief Managed has a Norwhal as their figurehead. Also picked up a passenger butterfly for the ride. We ended at Tuckahoe Point, positioned right outside the Aligator/Pungo Canal for tomorrow. Watched a beautiful sunset doing yoga and listening to our friend Richard Follett’s new CD.

Tuckahoe Point Sunset
I traveled across that swing bridge three weeks ago traveling along the NC coast hunting for my next house. I found one in Oak Island NC.
